Laser Treatments

Reduce Wrinkles, Scars, and Blemishes

We offer multiple laser platforms for many different skin types. They correct redness, brown pigmentation, vascular lesions, texture and tone impurities as well as remove hair. Also, all of our treatments are safe, effective, and require minimal downtime. While our laser treatments offer long-lasting results, we cannot stress enough the importance of using sunscreen to help maintain results.

Photo Rejuvenation (IPL)

An IPL Photofacial is a procedure in which intense pulses of light are used to penetrate deep into the skin. This specialized laser targets uneven pigment and sunspots on faces, necks, hands, and chests. This treatment also causes collagen and blood vessels below the epidermis to constrict, which reduces redness, fine lines, and wrinkles. IPL offers physician-grade results with minimal to no downtime. Also, results can be noticed in as little as one treatment.

Sublative Frax

Frax 1550nm laser treatment works by creating very small, very controlled islands of heat damage surrounded by healthy, normal skin. When the body repairs itself, collagen in the entire treated area is replaced, which reduces fine lines and leaves skin fresher. At the same time, the surface of the skin is renewed, improving the pigment.

Gentle Max Pro

Gentle Max Pro allows practitioners to treat a multitude of skin concerns with no downtime. The system combines the power of the 755 nm Alexandrite laser with the 1064 nm ND YAG laser to provide safe, comfortable, quick, and effective hair removal. It also works for all skin types. GentleMax Pro first emits a pulse cooling spray in the treatment area to protect it against burn and improve comfort. Then, a pulse of laser light is emitted in order to target hair follicles or simulate skin cell renewal. A tolerable stinging sensation is normal and is a desired clinical outcome as the therapeutic heat is being absorbed by the skin tissue. The treatment can take 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the area being treated.

Morpheus8

Morpheus8 is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation procedure. It uses radiofrequency (RF) and microneedling technology. Morpheus8 can be used anywhere on the body to improve the appearance of fine lines, lax skin, skin texture, and acne scarring.

FAQ's

Before your procedure, you should stop using topical treatments such as Retinol’s, glycolic acid, or other anti-aging products at least 3 days before your treatment. The treatment areas should not be bleached, waxed, tweezed, or have hair removal cream applied to them.

During laser treatment, your skin will be exposed to an intense beam of light energy. Lasers destroy the epidermis (surface of the skin). At the same time, they heat and stimulate collagen production in deep layers of dermal tissues, resulting in better tone and texture to facial or body surfaces over time. Skin that has undergone laser resurfacing may react differently, but it usually leaves patients feeling like they have a mild sunburn with redness and swelling (which should go away within a few days following most procedures). There might also be some itching or stinging during recovery.

During recovery, there is usually minimal downtime. Redness, swelling, and discomfort are typical for a few days. However, it should subside quickly with no permanent effects on your skin complexion or sensitivity. To help lessen any discomfort, using a cool compress as needed can help shorten recovery time before you resume normal activities. The cool compress should not affect your treatment negatively.

There should be quite a noticeable difference in your skin once the healing is complete, a difference that can even last for years. With that said, keep in mind that it is best to avoid excessive exposure to the sun for one year to prevent irregular pigmentation. New sun damage can also reverse any improvements gained from a laser procedure over time.
