Maintaining Natural Beauty
Aging can be divided into 2 processes: intrinsic and extrinsic
aging. The first is a natural, slow and gradual process, which is mainly affected by genetics. The second is exacerbated by trauma or environment such as improper exposure to sunlight, childbearing and child birth, etc or other trauma. Both intrinsic and extrinsic aging are accompanied by changes in morphological and biomechanical properties of tissue due to the change in collagen, which overtime creates wrinkles sagging, loss of the tone, fragile skin or mucosa, stress incontinence or dyspareunia.
